Northwave/Drake/Bakoda Warranty Policy

Northwave and Drake offer a one-year limited warranty on workmanship and materials from the date of original purchase. If a defect is suspected, return the product with a proof of purchase to your nearest Northwave/Drake authorized dealer or call our warranty dept. At (206) 762-2955 to obtain a return authorization number and we’ll take it from there. Turn around time is 24-48 hours from the time we receive the item. Northwave and Drake will match shipping, if you send it UPS ground then we will send it back UPS ground. If you send it UPS overnight, we will send it back the same way. All warranty claims must have a return authorization number (RA #) to return product!! Northwave and Drakes responsibility shall be limited to the replacement or cost of replacement (at Northwave and Drakes discretion) of the defective product according to its condition. Northwave and Drake will not be responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred as a result of loss of the use of the product. A copy of the original proof of purchase must accompany all warranty claims. In other words save your receipt!!!!

This warranty subject to the following limitations (not covered under warranty)

• Normal wear and tear, chips from impacts, scratches, discoloration, fading, bleeding, or cosmetic flaws.

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, impact, neglect, alterations or any damage as a result of board resting (snowboard edge damage). When a rider rests his board on his boots it’s going to cut the boots up, and lace/boot protector can prevent this.

• Improper mounting, wrong hardware, cross threading or use of power screw-shooters.

• Northwave and Drake product not sold by an authorized dealer.

A warranty claim is:

Boots: Sole delamination, seam failure, lace hooks pulled out, or blown lace loops.

Bindings: unmodified broken parts

A warranty claim is not:

Boots: Improper boot fit, boot modifications, seams coming undone on the rear boot due to edge damage, boot does not fit.

Bindings: modified parts, or use with non-Drake parts, chipped paint,lost hardware.

HOW TO OBTAIN AN RA#
1. Please call our US office at 206.762.2955 to obtain a RA#. Merchandise
returns will not be accepted without a RA#.

2. When you are ready to send back defective merchandise please make sure
you write the RA# on the outside of the box. Depending on on your country of
origin please send the defective merchandise to one of the following
distribution centers:
